Vacation in Trentino - Trentino-South is an Autonomous Region in Northern Italy. It consists of two distinct areas, the Italian-speaking Trento and the largely German-speaking South Tyrol. Hotels in Trentino - Trentino-South Tyrol is a breathtaking land of saw-toothed ridges and snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows and glittering waterfalls, popular ski resorts and immaculate medieval towns. In winter, the skiing is absolutely unparalleled. Spring and fall offer enchanting hikes along an extensive network of well-marked trails, with stops in remote mountain hamlets where German is the most common language.  Accommodation Trentino- In the mountain valleys of both areas are about 80,000 residents who, clinging to yet another ethnic tradition, speak an ancient language known as Ladin. Farm Holidays - If you look for Trentino Alto Adige on a map, you'll find that many of the localities have two names, such as Bolzano/Bozen, Merano/Meran, Bressanone/Brixen, Cortaccia/Kurtatsch, Castelvecchio/Altenburg, Corno Nero/Schwarzhorn and of course, Corno Bianco/Weisshorn. Because of very little intervention of man in the natural landscape of the region, it conserved its original beauty, flora and fauna. Farmhouses - The fertile valleys of Trentino-South Tyrol produce wine, fruit, dairy products and timber, chemical and metal production. The region is a major exporter of hydroelectric power. Tourism is an important source of revenue and the region is renowned for its winter skiing opportunities - Farm Holidays - Trentino-Alto Adige takes the 4th place in classification by the gross income per inhabitant. It is first in Italy by the number of banks in relation with the number of inhabitants. The product per head increases every year. Being a region with the special status determines the possibilities of the local administration to manage in better way not rich resources of the territory.
