HOTEL LYON ACCOMODATION - Lyon is the third largest city in France and certainly one of the many that deserve to be seen. First we feel obliged to remind you that the historic center of Lyon is under protection of UNESCO, considered patrimony of humanity.
The town lies at the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône and combines the old and historic part of town (Vieux Lyon, and Saint Jean Fourvière) with the most modern and commercial quertieri composed of the Place des Terreaux, Place Bellecour and Rue de la République . One of the main attractions of the city is the magnificent cathedral of Saint Jean dedicated to John the Baptist and is located in the historic center, in the medieval quarter.
Built over three centuries, between 1180 and 1480 is in pure Romanesque and Gothic style and inside we can admire a beautiful clock atronomico of the XIV century. The basilica was designed by Pierre Bossan and is inspired by the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris.
