HOTELS PINETO ACCOMODATION - Pineto is a town of 14,000 inhabitants in the province of Teramo. As you can imagine, its name comes from the beautiful pine forest which is located close to the sea and in the popular legend is also chose this name with a poem dedicated to this town by the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, entitled "The rain in pineto ". Pineto offers tourists the chance to spend a pleasant holiday not only to relaxation on the beach and swimming in the waters of the Adriatic, but also a living room full of culture and history.
Are evidence of the many architectural monuments spread throughout the territory of Pineto such as the beautiful tower of the sixteenth century, called the Tower of Cerrano built by Charles V to resist the invasion of many people of the Ottoman Turks. The Tower of Cerrano is one of the most ancient towers of the Adriatic coast as part of the Kingdom of Naples, its name comes from the river Cerrano that comes from the hills of Atri and flows into the town of Silvi Marina.
